The Don Gonzalo Oloroso has an average age of 25 years even though the bottle states 20 years and it comes from one of the two Oloroso soleras Valdespino is running, this being the dryer of the two. Started in the late 19th century, the aromas are deep and smoky with toasted almonds/hazelnuts, coffee beans and raw cocoa. Toasted flavors on the palate are balanced between drying acidity and no real sweetness. Amazing finish.
