The Saint by Wightman Sauvignon Blanc Napa 2023

This tiny 100 case production comes from the Bennett Valley on the west side of Sonoma.  It’s a single vineyard and based off a Friulian clone, which is the first we have come across. A small inclusion of oak does wonders for the mineral structure and high acid. Very tropical initially, it morphs into wet river rock, marjoram and thyme, similar to the great Italian Sauvignon Blancs. Medium acidity with a nice roundness from oak.
