Tessier Wines Skin Contact Chardonnay Arroyo Seco 2022

This Chardonnay leans-in heavily to the skin-contact world of wines w/o going overboard. A six-day maceration on the skins adds a pithy orange bitterness with aromas of loquat, caramel, yellow apples, chamomile and pine shavings. The grapes were harvested at a low 19 brix and de stemmed to maintain freshness and prevent over extraction and it shows on the cleanliness of the wine.
