Tensley Syrah Santa Barbara 2023

Joey Tensley started his winery back in the 1990s, focusing on Syrah-dominant wines from Santa Barbara. The fruit for this attractively priced entry-level Syrah comes from across the county, marrying lean, cool-climate Syrah with lusher, warmer sites. This is a generous, engaging wine full of aromas of blackberry, plum, violets, black pepper, and bitter chocolate, with a vanilla character of bourbon cream.
