Sorgente “Tuo” Pinot Grigio Friuli-Venezia Giulia 2024

Sorgente is a partnership between an importer and an unnamed Prosecco house, which additionally produces this one non-sparkling wine. At the base of the Dolomites, the vines are influenced by the mountains and the sea, making this more than the typical PG. There is a faint blush color, a complex weightiness rarely found in Pinot Grigio, white flowers, pears, green apples and orange citrus. There is quite a lot going on from skilled vineyard and cellar techniques.
