Short and Sweet Wines Dessert Wine Napa 2017

Born of opportunity, the grapes were left on the vines until mid-November far after the effects of the 2017 fires occurred in Napa. This concentrated the sugars and allowed for a sweet dessert style wine made from 58% Cabernet Sauvignon and 42% Zinfandel. Port-like in style with rich flavors of figs, blackberries, black cherries and dark chocolate with and ABV% of 17%. A perfectly executed sweet red from the famous Napa districts of Oak Knoll and Yountville.
