Sourced from multiple high-quality vineyards throughout Santa Barbara County, the Syrah shows balanced aromas and tannins. The fruit is ripe and round with typical Syrah markers of BBQ plum, violets, and pepper. Bitter chocolate, black cherries, cocoa nibs, and earth show a less meaty side of the grape, making it approachable for a variety of palates. The finish of the wine is both drying and elegant, allowing for complex food pairings, but no food is needed to enjoy this beauty.
