All grapes are sourced from old vineyards in the Cima Corgo region of the Douro Valley, the classic heart of port production, and aged for 4 – 6 years in large old oak vats. Wonderful aromas of dark chocolate, wild strawberries, blackberries, earth, and forest floor are followed by a balanced and fresh palate, leading into a seductive fruit-driven finish. Firm tannins and lively acidity lend to the freshness and balance.
