Niepoort 10-year-old Tawny NV 375 ml

Aged in 550L casks for an average of ten years in the historic town of Vila Nova de Gaia, where ports have traditionally been matured. 10-year-old tawnies are where tawnies begin to get interesting, developing pronounced oxidative aromas and fading in color. Niepoort make a great example: aromas of dried apricots, prunes and raisins, lemon and tangerine peel, nuts, toffee, and caramel, with a long, fiery finish.
