Morlet “Ma Princesse” Chardonnay Russian River Valley 2022

The Chardonnay from Morlet is surprising in its power, concentration and finesse. The Ritchie vineyard is widely considered one of the Grand Cru locations for Chardonnay in California, and this wine shows why. A well-balanced execution, showing heavy oak influence without overblown weight or rich viscosity. Lemon custard shows a creaminess on the nose with hazelnut, apples, herbs and peaches. The texture is full of stony minerals and zesty acidity.
