An incredible Chenin Blanc from a South African winemaker and a Chilean with French winemaking history. In 2017 they grafted Chenin Blanc onto País vines planted in 1940, the resulting fruit delivers an earthy, herbal expression of the grape. Lemon, lime, green apples, pears and a wooly quality that usually develops after multiple years in the bottle. Large neutral foudre and 12 months of lees contact inject a caramel and yeast aspect that is lifted by the grapes’ natural acidity.
