It is not common knowledge that Melon de Bourgogne can age remarkably well, especially when it is made with that exact purpose in mind. The two vigneron Jérémie Huchet and Jérémie Mourat each have made one of the most serious Muscadet we have tasted. Incredibly bright in color, with dragon fruit, BBQ peaches, pears and lemon zest. On the palate the acid is active with Thai lemongrass, ginger and a creamy custard-like texture from the extended lees aging.
