“LE BEGUIN”

Ninth generation vigneron Cyrille Lecointre has taken over the 18 parcels spread across three communes, sourcing the “Le Beguin” from Faye d’Anjou’s thin gravelly soils. The well drained vineyards really highlight the purity of the grape, shedding some of the chubbiness and focusing the tart acidity. Lime zest, pluot, barely ripe green apple and wet gravel breeze across the palate, showing a wine that is terroir in a bottle.
