Kuentz Bas “Trois Chateau” Pinot Blanc Veielles Vignes 2018

Kuentz-Bas always manages to keep their prices low and the quality high. Pinot Gris is the fourth most planted grape in the region, but it has seen the second fastest growth behind Pinot Noir. The “Trois Chateaux” is a traditional slightly off-dry style. Stone fruits of peaches and apricots are rich with a mineral dry edge. Apples, pears, fruit blossoms and citrus zest round out the fruit basket for a wine that can pair with anything from Thai food to fish dishes.
