Francoli Antico Amaro Noveis

The Francoli family first fired up their still in the region of Valtellina in 1875 after a few generations a distillery was set up in the Piedmont region of Ghemme where it remains to this day. The spirit base is molasses (read rum) with Piedmont’s mountain herbs of genepi, wormwood, gentian, nutmeg, anise, cinchona, rhubarb, yarrow and different types of orange. The product is then aged in oak barrels for an integrated balance of bittersweet notes that seem strikingly familiar.
