A dry Lambrusco from Sorbara, the Cantina Fratelli Carafoli was founded in 1919 with following generations growing the production and quality of the wines. The L’Onestra ismore rosé than red resulting in a lighter style with less grape aromas. Dried violets, hibiscus, black cherries, cranberries, raspberries and herbs. Wonderful acidity and bitter tannins drive home the dry style, though there is a moderate 6.8g/L residual.
