Domaine Nerantzi Assyrtiko PGI Serres Greece 2025

Organically grown on the calcareous sandy-loam soils of northern Greece the wine has great intensity and a nice rock dust aroma of minerality. The nose hints at a wine that may have had an extended maceration with spiced pears, apples and pithy citrus fruits of pomelo and lemon. There are secondary flavors of firm stone fruits, but the wine leans on its rugged salty expressions.
