“FRIONNES”
The Frionnes lieu-dit is a cool pocket of Saint-Aubin, which lies closer to the Montrachets, but this more closely resembles Meursault. Reductive with lemon herbs, thyme, and crushed rocks. Rosemary shows more herbs and there is a touch of austerity, but the palate shows restraint and balance, making this great for food pairings or just on its own. This is a wine that continues to give aromatically.
