Domaine Didier Dagueneau Pur Sang Pouilly-Fume 2023

This wine was first made in 1988, when Dagueneau pioneered experimentation with single-parcel wines in Pouilly-Fumé. The vineyard is St-Laurent, in the northern part of the appellation. It’s richer in clay, which helps give the wine a fuller, creamier, distinctive style of Sauvignon Blanc. The name “Pur Sang” means thoroughbred and refers to the Shire horse used to plow the vineyards.
