“5 PUTTONYOS”

A terrific entry-level 5 Puttonyos Tokaji, showing textbook qualities of the ultra-concentrated style. Big fruit and high acid are the name of the game. Acacia flowers, apricot, peach and lemon curd. The density of the wine can hold a spoon up with its viscosity. As with all good dessert wines, the acidity balances the sugar perfectly and the finish shows layers of complexity, keeping any cloying qualities at bay.
