“VOM GRAUEN SCHIEFER”
Not too far off from the Trocken bottling stylistically, the “Vom Grauen Scheifer” is entirely from the Marienberg estate vineyard and sourced from the grey slate. High acidity balances out the 8g/L residual (5g/L in the Trocken), the wine is bigger, bolder and juicier, filling the mouth with toothsome flavors of tart nectarines and green apples. All of the slate aromas and space dust lend salty minerality.
