Chateau Mukhrani Goruli Mtsvane Georgia 2021

The Mtsvane grape has six different varieties with the hyphenated name denoting the area it is from, so the Goruli is from Gori, the capital of Kartli region. A greenish color preludes herbal notes of olives and fresh grass, there is a real Bordeaux Blanc quality to the wine. A little waxiness is detected (think Semillon), with less-ripe apricot and peach aromas. Great acidity washes over the tongue lifting the wines aromatics.
