Bohigas Cava Brut "Reserva" MV
Property has been in the same family since the 13th Century. They have produced Cava here since the 1920s. A classic blend of Xarel-lo, Macabeo and Parallada planted in clay and limestone soils. Aged 2 years on its lees. Low dosage. Shows loads of tangy, citrus fruit smells and flavors with a nibble of buttermilk biscuits (fresh from the oven) on the mid palate. Finish is zippy, fresh and just a touch nutty. Glorious value.
