Belted Vines Albarino Napa Valley 2022

An astounding Albariño grown in the cooler Napa region of Carneros, with the vines essentially existing in an off shoot of the Napa River. Owned by a fifth generation of cattle ranchers, this has very little in common with what makes Napa famous, and that is exactly why we love it. Sleek, salty, lemon/lime citrus, a little touch of grassiness and tart kiwi.  No oak is used making this so the pear, peaches and steely minerality are centerstage. The wine is a breath of fresh air.
