Barone di Villagrande Etna Bianco Superiore 2024

A blend of 90% Carricante and what they call 10% indigenous Etna grapes, the wine is both zesty and rich with a certain freshness to the fruit. Fresh picked lemons, green apples, lemon cucumber, thyme and green herbs. A smoky undertone with golden grapefruit, white flowers and a nice fatness to the palate, which seems to be necessary to match the intensity of the acidity.
