Artemis Karamolegos Winery “Terra Nera” White Santorini 2025

The minerality of the 80% Assyrtiko is in the driver’s seat, but the addition of equal parts Athiri and Aidani add melon and tropical notes. This is from the winery’s young vines, which are 50 years old creating concentrated aromas of white flowers and ripe fruits, tart green apples and pears. The acidity has a tinge of saltiness and there is a waft of smoky volcanic soils, capturing the essence of the Cyclades islands.
