Meursault is undergoing a quiet revolution, and young winemakers like Thibaud Clerget are helping to lead the charge. Instead of the traditional powerhouse wines, we’re seeing wines like these with a fresh delicacy to them. There’s still a Meursault richness to them, with the wine aged in 20% new oak for 12 months leading to smoky, spicy aromas as well as ripe green apple and peach, and a creamy texture from MLF.
