Yohan Lardy Fleurie 2016

Organic producer working with half a hectare of land in Fleurie – just 170 cases made from difficult pink granite soils. Fermentation begins with carbonic maceration, before the grapes are crushed to continue regular fermentation, followed by 9 months in used oak. Floral and fruity, with aromas of strawberries, raspberries, roses, and violets, leading into a supple palate that has a grainy, graphite texture and a smooth, peppery finish.
