50 year old vine Syrah aged 12 months in demi-muids. This is full-bodied for Crozes with bitter chocolate, cassis and blackberry pie a-plenty. The hedonistic decadence is tempered with plenty of graphite, iron, licorice and crushed rocks. Beautiful now with a bit of air, even better in another 3-5 years.
