Yamabuki Shizuku Umeshu 4 year

Yamabuki is an innovator in the sake sphere. This umeshu, or plum wine, is no exception. It uses a sake base that has been aged 4 years, Nanko plums, and artisan brown sugar. This umeshu drinks like none you’ve had. Sherry-like characters are abundant – nutty, savory, and oceanic, the essence of the Nanko plums comes through in a fidelity that would put Hi-Fi speakers to shame, all balanced with an opulent degree of tartness and sweetness that can only have come from an experience with taking risks (and having them pay off).
