Yannick Rousseau, owner/winemaker. French born and trained, he has lived and made wine in Napa for many years. This is from "Haynes," in Coombsville, 3 miles from BRW. Thought it's not buttery, this is RICH. Smell and taste poached pears, candied lemon peel, roast almonds, French toast (hold the syrup). Long, pleasing toast almond skin/apple compote finish.
