Wolf’s Head Wines Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2015

An under the radar winery making just 738 cases of this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Calistoga.  Aromas of cassis, red and black fruits, leather, vanilla, and cocoa powder from aging 30 months in barrels, 20% new. Bold flavors with a silky texture seem oxymoronic, but this wine is a wolf in a cashmere sweater.  Ready to drink today, but should age well for years.
