70% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc. All Carneros fruit. Sports a unique, Right Bank Bordeaux character of cocoa powder, black olive and Indian spice, all complementing the black cherry and black currant flavors. Decanting this wine definitely helps the fruit blossom, making it match its savory qualities. Med/full body, medium acid & tannins. Husband/ wife owned. She is red-haired (RUA) Northern Irish.
