  1. The Crane Assembly "Disciples" Napa Valley Red Wine 2017

The Crane Assembly "Disciples" Napa Valley Red Wine 2017

    $45.00
The Disciples project – so called for a series of vineyards that are “disciples” to the historic G.B. Crane site – continues to evolve with the addition of Charbono (13%) and Grenache (6%) to the blend. Charbono adds a soft, chocolate texture to the wine, the Grenache some spice and raspberry aromas. The main grape is Zinfandel, for substantial blueberry, strawberry, floral aromas, with a little bit of Petite Sirah (5%) adding beef and tannin. Creamy, round, and very tempting. Learn More
  2. A Ghost of a Chance"Empty Spaces" Charbono Suisun 2017

    A Ghost of a Chance"Empty Spaces" Charbono Suisun 2017

    $30.00
One of the best and most approachable Charbonos we’ve tried. Fruit comes from Babock vineyard in nearby Suisun. Whole-cluster fermentation gives the wine a smoothness not normally associated with this robust grape. There are inviting aromas of blackberry, cherry, plum, licorice, and chocolate, with a very balanced palate that has a good tannic grip and lively acidity. Mouth-filling and textured, there’s a real pop to this very tasty wine. Learn More
  3. Broc Nero d'Avola Mendocino 2017

    Broc Nero d'Avola Mendocino 2017

    $30.00
It’s unusual to find the Sicilian grape Nero d’Avola here in California – from Fox Hill Vineyard in Mendocino near Ukiah, this is the only example we’ve ever seen! The wine undergoes 10% carbonic maceration and is aged in clay vessels. The red fruit aromas are really pure, with juicy, crunchy plums, raspberries, and strawberries, followed by a soft, fresh palate that makes this wine almost too easy to drink. Calls out for pizza.
