  1. Keplinger Hangman's Syrah Napa 2016

    Keplinger Hangman's Syrah Napa 2016

    $75.00
This Syrah is all about Northern Rhône; 5% Viognier co-ferment, with sweet and savory notes of BBQ meats, bacon, dark fruits of black cherry, Chinese plum, tobacco and tar. The grapes themselves come from a Hudson Vineyard that is located next to a tree with a dark past. After 27 days on the skins, the free run was drained to a combination of 500L and 228L French Oak barrels (65% new) for 18 months of elevage before being bottled without fining or filtration. 2. Troix Noix Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2016

Troix Noix Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2016

    $90.00 (NET)
Trois noix translates to the “three nuts” and it is a reference to the 3 kids of the Araujo family with Jaime Araujo taking the role of lead peanut here. She spent about a decade and a half as an ex-Pat in France and some of that influence shows up in the wine. That is a big compliment. The fruit has a little bit more of a sense of place in this wine, shying away from the jammy robustness that has been trendy in California Cabs. Learn More

  4. Opus One Napa Valley Red Wine 2016

Opus One Napa Valley Red Wine 2016

    $375.00 (NET)
“The 2016 Opus One has turned out beautifully. The 2016 most closely resembles the 2014, although it has more mid-palate sweetness and overall depth, along with a slightly darker profile. I expect the 2016 will enjoy a long drinking window that will start to open relatively soon. Of the last four vintages, the 2016 is certainly the most open-knit in the early going. The blend is 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Petit Verdot, 8% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 1% Malbec. 96+ (AG) “ Learn More

    $250.00 (NET)
From wayyyyy up on Atlas Peak (2100 feet). Heidi Barrett, co-owner and winemaker. This is big, bold, chewy and needing to be "forgotten" in the wine cellar. Black currants, cocoa, espresso, black olive, tobacco, leather, incense, licorice, mint, boysenberry and on and on. Firm tannins slowly loosen with air and show more of the wine's purity and power. This is a great birth year wine as it'll be at its best 2030+. Learn More
  6. Anatomy No. 1 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2014

Anatomy No. 1 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2014

    $30.00
French winemaker Philippe Langner brings a touch of Bordeaux to Napa for a more restrained though still very engaging style of Cabernet. The nose opens with nicely ripe black fruits – think blackcurrant, blackberry, and black cherry – plus a subtly oaky nose of smoke, black pepper, and cloves. Bright, refreshing acidity on the palate adds to the overall approachability. Great everyday drinking Napa Cab. Learn More
