  1. Domaine du Tremblay Sauvignon Blanc Quincy 2018

Domaine du Tremblay Sauvignon Blanc Quincy 2018

    $19.00
Quincy is a tiny little appellation just west of the massively popular Sancerre, but the quality is all there. The region of roughly 25 producers sits on mostly sand and gravel; tiny production means the wines don’t make it to the states very often. This wine is 100% Sauvignon Blanc and shows notes of fresh-cut grass, honeydew melon, yellow apple, and Bartlett pear. There is a salty minerality with more of a green apple on the palate leading to a finish that is dry without being austere. Learn More
  2. Domaine Laporte "Les Duchesses" Pouilly-Fume 2018

Domaine Laporte "Les Duchesses" Pouilly-Fume 2018

    $28.00
If you are tired of the modernized style of Sancerre and are looking for something that has more personality and less polish, look west across the river to Pouilly-Fumé. A wealth of smoky minerality and acidity are framed by the grapefruit and lemon/lime. This wine spend 5 months on its lees giving it texture that stands up to the herbal grassiness and pencil shavings. Light hints of mint, orange zest and honeydew melon. Learn More
  3. Cliff Lede Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley 2018

Cliff Lede Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley 2018

    $28.00
The grapes for this Sauvignon Blanc are mainly sourced from east Rutherford which is home to old clones of musqué and semillon. The other vines that contribute to the blend come from Calistoga. Fermentation was 67% French oak, 29% stainless steel and 4% concrete eggs. After fermentation the wine was aged on its lees with daily or weekly batonage. Flavors of kaffir lime, lychee, a limestone-like minerality and there is a richness from the oak to balance the intense acidity. Learn More
  4. Daniel Chotard Sancerre 2018

    Daniel Chotard Sancerre 2018

    $30.00
In recent years Daniel has handed over the reins to his son Simon, which has resulted in some subtle changes, such as organic farming practices. Another choice Simon makes is to pick the grapes later than most in order to achieve a style that has less acid. This does not make a flabby wine by any means; instead it exhibits round flavors of pears, quince, and honeydew. This is a very refreshing take on the classic Sancerre. Learn More
