  1. Julien Pilon St-Joseph Blanc 2014

    Julien Pilon St-Joseph Blanc 2014

    $35.00
60% Marsanne, 40% Roussanne. It’s unusual to find white St-Joseph, even more so one that has some age to it. The developing maturity is subtle and integrated, with aromas of nuts, mushrooms, and dried fruits adding concentrated complexity to the rich, round, creamy palate that has an edgy graininess to it. This a quite serious wine which will improve even further with age, and provides the perfect accompaniment to rich fish dishes. Learn More
  2. Kivelstadt Cellars "Mother of Invention" White Blend Mendocino County 2017

Kivelstadt Cellars "Mother of Invention" White Blend Mendocino County 2017

    $27.00
50/50 Marsanne/Roussanne from Mendocino, spending 6 months on the lees in neutral oak barrels to give a lightly creamy texture. This isn’t a fruit bomb – instead it’s all about the texture and structure: waxy and nutty with attractive floral, citrus, and stone fruit aromas with a rich weight to the wine that’s perfectly balanced by the acidity and aromatics coming from the Roussanne. Serve lightly chilled with bouillabaisse. Learn More
  3. Sine Qua Non Entre Chien et Loup 2015

Sine Qua Non Entre Chien et Loup 2015

    $200.00 (NET)
42% Chardonnay, 40% Roussanne, 7% Viognier, 7 % Petit Manseng, 4% Marsanne. 20% raisied in concrete eggs, 20% in stainless steel. As good, if not better than the 2014 white, the 2015 Entre Chien et Loup (which translates to between a dog and wolf, but is a French saying referring to dusk/twilight) checks in as a blend of 44% Chardonnay, 40% Roussanne, 8% Petite Manseng and 8% Viognier, raised in a combination of concrete eggs, stainless steel, used barrels and new French oak (varying sizes). The Chardonnay dominates on the nose which shows terrific buttered citrus, stone fruits, marzipan and brioche nuances. These carry over to the palate where the wine is full-bodied, thrillingly concentrated and textured, with bright, even racy acidity. Give this beauty a few years, and it’s going to keep for two decades or more. Learn More
  4. Boudinaud La Roussaline Rhone White Blend 2018

Boudinaud La Roussaline Rhone White Blend 2018

    $15.00
Great-value Côtes du Rhône blend of 40% Marsanne, 40% Viognier, and 20% Roussanne. The three varieties all come together to add depth and complexity: a waxy oiliness from Marsanne, aromas of white flowers, peach, and nectarine from Viognier as well as some richness, and acidity from Roussanne. Overall, a refreshing wine with some weight and spice. Learn More
