  1. La Closerie des Eyrins Margaux Bordeaux 2015

La Closerie des Eyrins Margaux Bordeaux 2015

75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot. After a 21 day maceration the grapes are transferred to age in 50% new oak and 50% stainless steel. This balance of aging techniques gives the wine toasty oak aromas with bitter chocolate, molasses, and dark fruits. Earthy flavors of leather, walnuts, and roasted beets are framed by a long dry finish. A Margaux that perfectly shows-off the ripe and accessible growing season of 2015. Learn More
  2. Chateau Rauzan Segla Margaux 2012

    Chateau Rauzan Segla Margaux 2012

47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 47% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot. 2012 was an excellent vintage for Bordeaux, reflected in the ripe black fruit aromas in historic Margaux producer Château Rauzan’s second wine, Ségla. It’s drinking wonderfully well now, its juiciness held together with firm tannins and smoke from ageing in 20% new French oak. There are some hints of maturity, with dried fruits and tobacco. Drink now-2025. Learn More
