    $45.00
Southern-most edge, and coolest, section of Napa Valley. On the San Pablo Bay, south of Carneros. Lower alcohol, minimal oak, citrus-y style of Chardonnay. Rich flavor, light body. Boasts tingling acidity, a basket of lemons, grapefruits and green apples, honeydew melon. Aged in neutral oak with occasional lees stirring to add mouth feel & texture. Learn More
  2. Kivelstadt Twice Removed Rose 2018

    Kivelstadt Twice Removed Rose 2018

    $22.00
This is styled after its Provençale cousins from southern France. The grapes are harvested early, and then lightly foot stomped and allowed to cold soak overnight to extract color and texture before the juice is pressed off and fermented in stainless steel. The 70 year old vines from Venturi Vineyard give a slightly herbal flavor with watermelon, strawberry, and nectarine. Crisp with medium-high acid. Learn More
  3. Kivelstadt Father's Watch Red Blend 2017

Kivelstadt Father's Watch Red Blend 2017

    $27.00
Father's Watch is a Rhone style blend made from 32% Carignane, 27% Grenache, 22% Syrah, and 19% Mourvedre. A third of the wine is left whole-cluster before spending 27 months in neutral oak. Kivelstadt is always making wines that stand apart and this wine is no different. Tomato leaf, fig, plum, and slightly smoked cherries. An underlying minerality and underbrush sneak into the mix while keeping the wine delicate and restrained. Learn More
  4. Snowden "The Ranch" Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2016

Snowden "The Ranch" Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2016

    $60.00
This Cabernet Sauvignon sneaks in just above the legal limits with the other Bordeaux varieties, 18% Merlot and 4% Petite Verdot making up the rest of the wine. These additions provide a balance of suppleness and power. The fruit is bright, but somehow also dusty, bringing out the blackberry, plum, and licorice. The tannins hit the mouth immediately, but slowly fade to a soft and seductive finish of cocoa powder and French oak notes. Learn More
  5. Vermillion Red Wine California 2016

    Vermillion Red Wine California 2016

    $36.00
62% Grenache, 21% Mourvèdre, 10% Syrah, 6% Petite Sirah, and 1% Counoise. With fruit coming from Sonoma and Sierra Foothills, this is Helen Keplinger’s “second label” and the vivid Vermillion package is reflected in the wine with bright, ripe strawberries, raspberries, plums, blackberries, and black cherries, with a peppery, earthy smokiness and sweet spice, cinnamon notes. A great Californian expression of the Rhône. Learn More
  6. A Ghost of a Chance"Empty Spaces" Charbono Suisun 2017

    A Ghost of a Chance"Empty Spaces" Charbono Suisun 2017

    $30.00
One of the best and most approachable Charbonos we’ve tried. Fruit comes from Babock vineyard in nearby Suisun. Whole-cluster fermentation gives the wine a smoothness not normally associated with this robust grape. There are inviting aromas of blackberry, cherry, plum, licorice, and chocolate, with a very balanced palate that has a good tannic grip and lively acidity. Mouth-filling and textured, there’s a real pop to this very tasty wine. Learn More
  7. Mountain Tides Rose of Petite Sirah Contra Costa 2018

Mountain Tides Rose of Petite Sirah Contra Costa 2018

    $24.00
Mountain Tides only work with Petite Sirah, even for their rosés. The grape works surprisingly well, providing color and generous fruit. The grapes were trodden by foot to give firm but gentle tannins and a complex structure. A very pretty nose of red cherry, plum, and blackberry, as well as licorice, cinnamon, and rose petals, goes into a palate that has fresh, integrated acidity, some roundness and weight, and a creamy texture. Serious, engaging, and extremely refreshing. Learn More
