  1. Terre Rouge Roussanne Sierra Foothills 2012

Terre Rouge Roussanne Sierra Foothills 2012

    $25.00
A classic Roussanne made by Bill Easton who has been making wine around the Sierra Foothills since the mid 1980’s. Straw in color with exquisite quince and honey-nut aromas, silky mouth feel and excellent minerality. 7 years old already, but with the acidity to age farther. White flowers, a waxy texture with the typical varietal weightiness. Honey, marigold, lemon and a small hint of petrol from age. Bottle aged before release. Learn More
  2. Abreu Thorevilos 2012

    Abreu Thorevilos 2012

    $650.00 (NET)
"Probably one of my favorite vineyards in all of Napa Valley, even though it is not entitled to any particular AVA designation, is the steep hillside vineyard behind the luxury resort of Meadowood in St. Helena called Thorevilos. It is co-owned by David Abreu and Ric Forman. I have now tasted 16 vintages of this wine, and six and possibly seven (the 2015) have merited perfect scores, which is just mind-boggling even to someone who has been doing this for 38+ years. This wine contains a considerable quantity of Cabernet Franc (probably 30% or more, although Abreu and Grimes are never specific) and there may even be a small percentage of Petit Verdot included in the blend. This is always the most floral of the Abreu wines, but it also has what the French call je ne sais quoi, a quality that is hard to pin down." - Robert Parker Learn More
  3. Abreu Cappella 2013

    Abreu Cappella 2013

    $650.00 (NET)
"A deeply intriguing wine, the 2013 Cappella is a dark, sensual beauty. Silky and surprisingly approachable for the vintage, the Cappella is the most accessible and open-knit of the Abreu 2013s. There is no shortage of tannin, but all the elements are impeccably balanced throughout. In a year that produced huge, tannic wines, the Cappella is about finesse. Inky blue/purplish fruit, lavender and mint blossom gracefully in the glass. The Cappella will require the least amount of time in bottle of the 2013s, but there is no shortage of stuffing, that much is obvious." 96pts, Galloni. Learn More
