West Pole is an old and jesting nickname for the town of Occidental, where winemaker Kurt Beitler has lived and grown grapes for nearly 20 years. The 2017 West Pole Pinot Noir is his inaugural vintage, made from 100% estate grown fruit and aged 22 months in French Oak barrels.
