Wine & Soul Pintas Character Tinto Douro 2019

The vines are grown in dramatically steep granite terraces, which were blasted out with dynamite over 100-years-ago, and subsequently planted to 30 different varieties. Filled with power and beauty, the fruit is precise with blueberries, purple plums and blackberries. Pretty aromas of violets and perfume are pleasantly situated alongside wet rock and underground cellar aromas. The wine covers a broad swath, showing fruit and earth, ageability and drinkability, as well as new and old-world structure.
