Wind Gap Trousseau Gris "Fanucchi-Wood Road Vineyard" Russian River Valley 2015

Grape of eastern France origin (Jura, base of The Alps). It is now quite the darling grape, and wine, of unique California wine fans. The best versions come from this vineyard: "Fanucchi Wood Road" in Russian River Valley. Wind Gap's T.G. see brief skin contact, concrete/steel ferment, neutral oak/steel for 4 months then bottled. Lightly floral, tropical & stone fruits, Chinese tea, white pepper, bright acidity. Unique taste, but not an acquired taste.
