Wilderness Trail High Rye Bourbon 8 Years

We have carried the 6-year Wheated Bourbon, and now we had the chance to get an 8 year "High Rye" Bourbon.  This was hard to pass.  Bottled In Bond for the 100 proof, using Kentucky grown corn, wheat and rye, the flavors paint with broad stroke.  Red fruit of raspberries and strawberries are given structure from burnt almonds, vanilla, oak and leather.  Some browned butter provides a creamy contrast to the mild spicy rye notes.
