White Rock Chardonnay Napa Valley 2014

Estate Chardonnay at the base of Atlas Peak. Low ML, low oak, picked with healthy natural acidity. A most refreshing Chardonnay, balancing the richness of the grape with gentle winemaking ("We let the vineyard and the grape make the wine."). Smell & taste lemon custard, honeydew melon, baked green apples, pie crust, quince paste and fresh pears. Best served with just a slight chill to pick up the nuances.
