WesMar Winery Pinot Noir "Oehlman" Russian River 2016

Denise Mary Selyem and her husband Kirk Wesley Hubbard started this winery in 2000 after working for several years at the families William Selyem winery. The grapes are picked earlier that normal to preserve the fresh fruit characters and the acidity of the wine. Aromas of strawberry and cherry preserve, vanilla bean and some subtle floral notes. The freshness of the fruit balances the acid on the finish. Very minimal SO2 used.
