Wenyon Winery “The Radical” Malbec Napa 2021

The Wenyan Winery, located in the cooler Oak Knoll district has a focus on Malbec, with the grape taking center stage in each of their red wines. This cooler climate allows for slow ripening and even maturation of tannins, providing a dryness to the fruit driven grape. Black fruits bounce back and forth off blue fruits with herbal notes, earth qualities, cherries and vanilla. Full flavored, full bodied and  a radical change from the Cabernet dominate wines that are easily sourced around Napa Valley.
