Weingut Groebe Kirchspiel Riesling GG Rheinhessen 2020

Weingut Groebe has a long tradition; founded in the early 1600s, which gives them access to classic vineyards. The heart of the Kirchspeil terrain is composed of marlaceous clay, a large proportion of limestone skeletal remains and a small proportion of weathered chalky clay soils. Traditional wooden casks give this a woodsy green apple quality, dried apricots, lemon balm, tarragon, and a light flint quality. The high acidity (7.6g/L) balances out the RS (4.7g/L) perfectly.
