Waterfall Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2015

The fruit comes from Lancel Creek and UV vineyards near remote Occidental in Sonoma Coast – this is as cool as this part of California gets. It’s made by phenomenal winemaker Helen Keplinger. Deep, intense, very concentrated and structured, firm tannins balanced by high acidity, smoky and herbal, with blackcurrants and blackberries. This is particularly ageworthy – drink with food (red meat, casserole dishes) or cellar for another ten years. Just 120 cases made.
