A perennial favorite of ours for luscious, rich Chardonnay that remains balanced. Steve Hansel has made Kistler-esque Chardonnays (at much more reasonable prices) for 20+ years. Aged in 1/3 each new, 1 year and 2 year French oak barrels. Flinty, with apple blossoms, quince, hazelnut cream and buttered popcorn balanced by a firm, precise spine of acid and minerality.
